China Care Children's Homes are set up nearby local Chinese orphanages for the purpose of providing outstanding care to the smallest and weakest children from those institutions. These are babies with moderate to life-threatening birth defects, and other infants who require a high level of skilled care during their early weeks and months. Each China Care Children's Home cares for 10 to 15 babies in a home-like setting.

Here each infant's condition is assessed and stabilized and further treatment is planned according to the urgency of each baby's condition.  Care is provided by our trained staff of nannies and care supervisors who are there to meet each baby’s physical, emotional and psychological needs.  Each Children’s Home will take in many children over the course of one year, nourishing them to health through better care, attention and love.

Beijing Children's Home is China Care's north China Medical Program hub. Children from China Care's other Children's Homes come here to receive medical treatment from China's top medical specialists in Beijing. After medical treatment is completed, the child returns to his original China Care Children's Home. This home currently has a capacity of 29 children, including the Special Care Unit.

Taiyuan Children's Home is located in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province in north central China. This home receives children from orphanages all over Shanxi. This Children's Home is split into two adjacent facilities, each caring for 12 to 15 babies.

Baotou Children's Home is located in Baotou, a medium sized industrial city in China's northern Inner Mongolia province. This Children's Home receives children from local orphanages. The home is currently caring for 20 to 25 babies.

Baoji Children's Home is located in Baoji, a city in China's north central Shaanxi province. This Children's Home receives children from local orphanages. The home has a capacity to care for 10 babies.

Dong Guan True Children's Home is located in the southern city of Dong Guan in Guangdong province. Thanks to the generosity of Alan and Twila True this home opened in February 2006. Since then, the home has doubled its size and expanded into another home in the city of Anji. The total capacity of these homes is 32 babies. The True Children's Home receives babies from rural orphanages all over southern China and is China Care's south China Medical Program hub.
